The Crock-Pot, which is a trademarked name by the Rival corporation, is a slow cooker that cooks or reheats food without constant supervision. Slow cookers are a small kitchen appliance that consists of a metal housing unit that features controls, a ceramic or porcelain cooking pot, and a lid. The settings for a Crock-Pot include low, high and warm. Using the warm setting reheats the food and keeps it warm until serving time. Using that setting is the best way to reheat a meal such as a roast.
Step 1
Plug in the Crock-Pot and turn the setting to "Warm." If the Crock-Pot does not have a warm setting, use the low setting.
