How to Grind Rice in a Blender

Use your blender to make rice flour.

Using rice flour is a cooking alternative for who have a wheat allergy. According to the Kids with Food Allergies Foundation, for recipes, you can substitute 7/8 cups of rice flour for each cup of wheat flour. Use rice flour to bake muffins, cakes or bread. While rice flour is available for purchase, you can grind either white or brown rice in a blender to turn it into flour. Brown rice tends to have a stronger flavor compared to white rice, which tends to be grainier.
