Place the bacon in the pan. Do not overlap the pieces so that they cook evenly.

Place the pan over medium-low heat and cook until the bacon is browned to taste. Turn frequently.

Remove the bacon from the pan and place it on a plate lined with paper towels to dry.

Wait until the bacon cools and crumble with your hands.
Microwave Cooking

Line a microwaveable plate with 2 paper towels.

Lay 4 strips of bacon on top of the toweling. Do not allow the strips to lay on top of each other.

Cover bacon strips with another paper towel.

Microwave for 3 to 4 minutes for chewy bacon, or 4 to 5 minutes for crispy bacon. If you are using turkey bacon adjust time to 2 1/2 to 3 minutes for chewy, and 3 to 4 minutes for crispy.
